John 3 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Testify

Our weekly Wednesday evening practises are currently cancelled because Chris, our Musical Director, is unwell. Please pray for his recovery.

Testify is a group of people who love to sing praises to the Lord; currently there are 24 members. We are mainly from local churches representing Measham, Packington, Coalville and Netherseal.

We meet weekly at 7.00 pm every Wednesday evening, and we begin each rehearsal with a word of prayer.

We sing some traditional worship music, but many of our songs are poems that Chris, our musical director, has set to music.

We aim to do two concerts a year Easter and Christmas, and usually sing at the church tea afternoons. This Christmas Rima led us singing O Come All Ye Faithful in Indonesian, and her family and friends in Indonesia were thrilled to hear our church joining in the chorus in Indonesian.

In Christmas 2024 we were able to sing carols and witness to the residents at Seale Pastures House Care Home in Acresford. As with our rehearsals, we commit each performance to the Lord in prayer.

Testify is a loving, friendly, supportive group of people who enjoy meeting and singing praises to God. We welcome new members who share our Love of the Lord and enjoy singing his praise.
