Annual Car Treasure Hunt

Our annual car treasure around the local villages was an absolute whizz. Over 70 people took part all around Appleby, Austrey, Newton Regis and Warton in glorious weather.

Some really cryptic clues kept many wandering up and down the same street from time to time or simply missing some obvious landmarks; such as the Baptist Church at Austrey where one of the competitors who will remain nameless (from IT) used to attend as a child.

The event ended with a gathering at Measham Leisure Centre and a BBQ overlooking the playing fields. A great time was had by all the families that took part; a big thanks to the organisers and Alan and Hester who must be tired of the sight of burgers and hot dogs.
