The January Cafe

January cafe was held for the second year running - every Saturday in January to share food and friendship with our local community. Church members and our friends were generous with donations of homemade meals, puddings and cakes to share. The children from church and Brigades enjoyed waiting tables and also honed their pancake making skills! This really was a great team effort enjoyed by diners and helpers alike. Although refreshments were all provided free of charge, the book stall in aid of Meningitis Research raised nearly £200 which was a bonus.
